Global Travel Retail is one of the most exciting and fast moving sectors in retail. Customer profiles change with every itinerary, buying decisions are influenced by destination and seasonality, and creating the right branded assortment requires both commercial instinct and a deep understanding of the customer.
We're looking for an experienced Brands Buyer to manage an exciting portfolio of leading fashion and lifestyle brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has established themselves within branded buying and is looking for a role that offers genuine variety, international exposure and the opportunity to shape assortments for a global retail business.
What are we looking for.
Previous experience buying branded fashion or lifestyle products.
Are you a junior buyer looking to take the next step.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills.
Experience negotiating with branded suppliers.
The confidence to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
A passion for brands, trends and delivering exceptional product ranges.
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple seasons and priorities.
Experience buying apparel, outerwear, accessories or premium lifestyle brands would be particularly valuable.
What you'll be doing
Managing a portfolio of established branded fashion and lifestyle suppliers.
Building commercially successful assortments across brands and leading labels.
Identifying new brands and product opportunities that will resonate with our international cruise guests.
Developing strong relationships with brand partners and negotiating commercial terms.
Planning seasonal ranges that reflect changing destinations, customer demographics and market trends.
Analysing sales performance and using insight for future ranges.
Working closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Operations and Visual Merchandising to deliver successful product launches.
Managing supplier relationships to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
Attending trade shows, brand appointments and supplier meetings to stay ahead of emerging trends and opportunities.
