At Harding+, retail performance depends on having the right product, in the right place, at the right time - and ensuring stock integrity across a truly global retail operation.
We’re looking for a Profit Protection Manager (US) to become the first point of contact for all US-based Profit Protection and Asset Protection activity, helping us reduce stock loss, improve stock integrity and strengthen performance across our onboard retail business.
This is a role for someone who wants to make a visible impact. You’ll partner with onboard teams, Area Managers and key stakeholders to improve stock accuracy, reduce shrink and drive on-shelf availability - helping strengthen stock integrity and improve operational consistency across our onboard retail business.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a traditional land-based loss prevention role. It is a highly visible role within Harding+, offering the opportunity to influence operational performance, strengthen stock integrity and shape improvements across our US operations.
Success in this role comes from combining inventory management, commercial awareness and investigative thinking to understand why stock loss happens and how to fix it.
One day, you could be analysing stocktake data and building action plans with stakeholders; the next, you could be onboard a ship investigating an issue, supporting a stocktake or improving operational standards. It’s a role with genuine variety, pace and ownership.
You’ll also have line management responsibility for a sea-based Profit Protection Specialist, offering the opportunity to coach and develop others while helping shape the wider function.
With approximately 30% travel across the US and internationally, including onboard ship visits, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working in a truly global environment.
About You
You may currently work within Profit Protection, Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Inventory Control, Retail Operations or Stock Integrity, and be looking for an opportunity with broader ownership and visibility.
You’ll bring a strong understanding of inventory management and stock control, alongside the ability to analyse data, identify trends and drive action. You are naturally inquisitive, tenacious and a true starter-finisher - someone who enjoys getting into the detail, identifying root causes and seeing problems through to resolution.
Strong stakeholder management is essential, as is the confidence to influence and challenge where needed to improve outcomes.
Experience conducting investigations would be beneficial, and exposure to Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) or equivalent investigative interviewing techniques would be advantageous. Confidence interpreting data and using Excel to analyse trends, including tools such as pivot tables, will be important.
What You’ll Gain
Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:
Annual company bonus
401(k) with company match up to 6%
90% employer contribution to medical cover through Florida Blue
100% employer-paid dental and vision cover
21 days of Paid Time Off (PTO), plus US public holidays and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days per year
Life assurance at 4x salary
Most importantly, you’ll join a collaborative global business where your impact is visible, your development is supported and no two days are the same.
