Here at Harding+ we are hiring an experienced Account Receivable professional to join our Finance team.

As an Accounts Receivable Lead, you’ll provide steadfast and supportive leadership to the Accounts Receivable team, sharing your experience and knowledge of this field. You will manage the team supporting on a variety of responsibilities including, query resolution for sales files received from POS terminals on shops, chasing shops for unreceived sales files and credit control and payment applications based on remittance advices received.
The role is Avonmouth based and offered on a hybrid working basis – 2 days per week in office.
Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, 26 days annual leave
What you will be doing:
Developing and streamlining processes for efficiency and consistency throughout the business
Oversee the daily operations of the team ensuring all activities are actioned within agreed timescales
Responsibility for the production of all AR reporting including balance sheet reconciliations
Line and performance management for a team of 6
Partner with business to improve data quality
Assisting with identifying control-based improvements to systems and processes
About you:
Experience in similar/relevant financial role
Experience in managing a team
Advanced excel skills; comfortable with handling large data sets
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, whilst maintaining the ability to step back and see the bigger picture
Ability to confidently communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills
Inquisitive and challenging mindset; curiosity to understand more and question the status quo
Energetic and keen to identify how we can be doing things better or adding value
Proactive, able to plan and manage own workload whilst achieving tight deadlines
Ideally experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central)
Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
