About the role:
The role of the IT Procurement Coordinator is to ensure the smooth and efficient use of Technology assets used within the business, including keeping up to date asset inventories and records, contract renewals, Purchase Order management and receipting, licence and supplier management, and general office administration tasks within Technology.
This is a full time role based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis working 2 - 3 days on site
Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 26 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown)
Contract - 12 months fixed term
What you’ll be doing:
Procurement
Financial administration for Technology; including requesting quotes, assessing pricing, seeking Capex approvals, Purchase Order management and goods receipting
Maintain and manage the contracts register, advising and negotiating contract owners of renewal dates, T&C changes, and costs / renewal quotes
Maintain and manage relationships with our third party partners
Other general administration tasks or activities and supporting other members of the team when needed
Asset Management
Maintain departmental hardware and software asset register
Run the asset process for starters, leavers, and movers across the business
Manage software licence compliance across the business for end user software products
Depreciated hardware disposals, ensuring all old kit is collected by preferred disposal companies, and FreshService is updated with all disposal certificate information
Ensure levels of IT hardware and peripherals are maintained
About you:
Proven experience in IT asset management lifecycle processes
Highly organised, displays strong attention to detail and an analytical thinker
Maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority
Well versed with MS Office applications with a strong emphasis on MS Excel and Financial acumen
Proactively identifies areas for improvement and shares lessons learned with colleagues
Customer focused with a passion and drive to deliver customer satisfaction and value to the business
Ability to operate in a complex, time critical and constantly evolving environment
Ability to be independent and resourceful, escalating issues where necessary
Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
